Working as part of our Park’s maintenance team, you will be responsible for helping to maintain the high cleaning and maintenance standards of both play equipment and grounds maintenance within the whole of the Country Park, including on our animal farm and Campsite.
From litter picking to building fences, cutting and strimming to repairing equipment, emptying bins to unblocking drains, so some knowledge and interest in general and grounds maintenance will be required, as a host of varied tasks will arise.
Experience of strimmer’s, brush cutters and an ability to use a varied sort of machinery would be an advantage, though are not essential.
However, personality, reliability, hardworking, being a team player though able to use own initiative and work unsupervised are essential.
There will be direct contact with visitors to the Park, so being presentable, approachable and able to communicate with the general public is also a necessity.
Due to our location, own transport would be advisable and CRB check will be required to be taken.
Working 8am-5pm, 5 days out of 7 and at least one weekend a month, this position involves working outside for the majority of the year, both summer and winter.
